Women's Participation in Golf

In May of 2013, golf industry leaders attending the GOLF 20/20 Strategic Planning meeting recognized the need to make women's golf a key area of focus for the golf industry.

As a result, a Women's Task Force of representatives of the golf's leading organizations was immediately formed to address this issue and to determine the best strategy to guide the industry's efforts to increase interest and participation in the game by women.

The Women's Task Force ultimately decided that the creation of a communication hub to provide access to information on women's golf would have the most meaningful impact on the development of women's golf worldwide.

GolfForHer.com was launched on the PGA Forum stage in January of 2015 at the PGA Merchandise Show.
