GOLF FOR THE GREATER GOOD

While it has long been known that professional golf events generate millions of dollars for charities nationwide, the great impact that small, local fundraisers create had not been scientifically measured. To remedy this knowledge gap, GOLF 20/20 commissioned the National Golf Foundation to investigate the game’s true charitable influence.

The results put the game collectively on par with the largest charitable efforts in the world, with over $3.2 billion in charitable giving—above and beyond the many donations by golf corporations. This arises from an annual estimate of over 140,000 charitable golf outings every year. Learn more by downloading the report.
